Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others. Philippians 2: 3 - 4.
Humility -
Humility is the simplicity of seeing things as they are: that you are absolutely dependent on Christ the Head and Christ the Body. Humility brings the Body of Christ into unity.
Humility removes the human desire for recognition, honor, fame, disorderly pleasure, or fortune.
Pride is the lack of ability to see this. Pride is a failure to accept and perceive the reality of our utter dependence on God. Pride is the absence of humility.
