I love these two photos.....shame Josef is missing.
This week at home school Avril continued on with her art program. She learned how things close to you are larger than things in the distance.
Here she is adding parts to a clown.
Adele's focus in Primary Language Lessons this week was There and Their. I was pleased to see that she knew when to use each.
This week the girls and I made some home made spelt English muffins. When I make English muffins, I always ask myself why I don't always just make them myself!! I think the answer is, sometimes it is just more convenient to buy some :) But if you do feel like a kitchen experiment or have time to make your own...make some, they are so easy! You can find the recipe here.
The kids love helping in the kitchen.
I was delighted this week to discover Josef and Avril playing so nicely together. This is a new thing, as Josef grows bigger it is great to find them both engaging in some play together.
Row...row...row your boat!!!
For our Madeline (Five in a Row) study we looked at mono chromatic (one colour) and full palette illustrations in the book. Then we set to create our own illustrations.
Adele sketched Big Ben and then used a full palette to fill it in.
Some monochromatic pictures...
Josef also got in on the action....and Avril too!!
Adele created this handprint, splatter art masterpiece :)
And here is Avrils'....
Here are Avril and I posing next to our reading helpers.
Avril has been practising writing the letter S this week...
The girls love eggs and the new menu plan we are folllowing from thebettermom, using heaps of eggs!! Here they are eating a cheesy pasta with asparagus and a poached egg!!
Avril continued on with her forgotten sewing project this week...
The kids love heading to the PCYC for some game time with other home schoolers...
The girls play really nicely together during the day...here are the girls playing with their Gigi..God's Little Princess sticker set.
