We headed off down the Hume Highway, with not much planned to do on the way. But this was all to change!!
Our first stop was at Goulburn McDonalds for an early lunch stop. And it was cold!
The kids had a much needed run on the McDonalds equipment...
But then it was time to head off again....
Our next stop was Gundagai. I had heard of the Dog on the Tuckerbox but had never seen it, so we stop for a look around.
Then we were heading for our overnight stop at All Seasons Lake Hume Resort. We were all very tired and very pleased with our accommodation. Damon was particularly excited because there were peacocks everywhere!!! We all settled down for a treat of pizza for tea.

Before heading off we had a play and explore of the grounds...
I became bored with the straight Hume Highway so we detoured off for some more interesting sites starting in Wangaratta and ending up at Mt Buller.
But first another stop for a play....
Look closely and you might see some snow!!! We were so excited because this was the kids first experience of snow!
The kids were so excited waiting for the shuttle bus up to the snow.
And their first touch of snow...
There wasn't much snow laying around but there was a good toboggan run...
But before we reached it, Avril had a tumble down the stairs :(
But she soon brightened up when she saw the toboggan run!
