I bought a pressure cooker!!!

I spent many of my earlier years scared by all the horror stories I had heard about pressure cookers exploding!! But I must have toughened up a bit in my later years! I have just bought a pressure cooker!! And I am really excited!!

I love Aldi! I always find great items in their sales which I would pay so much more for elsewhere. This is where I picked up my pressure cooker. Always look out for a bargain at Aldi! And no this is not a sponsored post, I just love seeing what awesome things they get in that store.

I still haven't completely worked out how it works, but I am trying it out and I am thinking it could become my best friend. The other night I cooked a roast chicken in 18 minutes, browned it in the oven for a few minutes and voila! roast chicken. So no more panic on nights where I am unprepared, I can now whisk out my new pressure cooker and with my friend google :) , work out how to cook whatever I had planned.

This is why I am posting about this, I am excited! I love to cook and finding new ways to do it. I have never had any experience with pressure cooking and would love some advice or a link to a favourite recipe that you love making in your pressure cooker. So please comment away! And leave any links you may have to great recipes.
