Working as a team...

As we started our first week back on our six week trek, I decided that it was time to focus on routine again!! You know that thing that just seems impossible to me :) Well it seems that I may have found something that is working! I feel really comfortable with it and it doesn't seem overwhelming....yay!! But we'll see how we go!

Avril helped me with the laundry this week :)

The girls begged me for a Jelly Bath this week!! They assured me they wouldn't make a huge mess and any mess that was made they would clear up!! And you should have seen the bathroom after their bath...oh my goodness...what a mess!!!

Avril has enjoyed cooking with me this week....

Adele and Avril discovered the tape measure this week!! And they proceeded to measure everything in sight including the distance between the floor and ceiling. And Mary, we also discovered that mummy is actually, exactly 5 ft not under as has been believed previously!!! lol

During the week we were blessed to have a meal with some close friends....we made a giant roast dinner...it was so yummy!!

Josef loves to dance. And he loves to encourage his sisters to join him.

On Wednesday I had two extras for school!!! And it was delightful. They were both so polite and diligent with their work...it was a great day!

Here is Alicia reading Goodnight Mr Tom to the girls...

Bible time...copying out their memory verse and decorating it....

Alicia is following a Narnia Literature unit...here she is making a bookmark about Temptation....

Here is Ella doing her Bible time poster...
 And Adele...

For lunch we made our own Spelt tortillas and then used them to create our own pizzas!!!

Then it was back to school...

Avril continued with her art program...plus a Garfield exercise book.
 Ella did spelling...
 Adele did her Language Arts...Where?

 Then the pizzas were ready...

Then everyone wanted to make book marks...

The book mark trend continued after our Wednesday had finished...the girls started to think of people they could make some for.

The girls helping to make the recipes out of my 1970's cookbook...

 Bakewell Tart...

Josef scared me when he walked out with scissors in hand!! But thankfully he was content to cut up paper!! :)

Later in the week we had friends visit. It was fun watching the girls make up dances together..

Guess what???? This is my first homemade sourdough and it tastes great!!

A fun week had by all....
